This policy explains how information is handled when you use the Sentimech website, prepare a project brief or choose to contact us.
Information on this website
Our website introduces our engineering work and helps you prepare for a project conversation. It does not provide visitor accounts or process payments. We do not use first-party advertising or analytics telemetry on this site.
Visiting a page still involves ordinary network requests. Your browser and the infrastructure delivering the site handle connection information needed to load content, such as an IP address and browser information. Embedded media has separate third-party processing, described below.
Preparing a project brief
The project page lets you organize a name, email address, engineering challenge and optional public document URL. These fields are held in temporary browser memory while you prepare your brief. Send your project brief checks the information on the page, then submits it from your browser to Formoid, the form service used for Sentimech enquiries. It does not open the document URL.
The required consent checkbox refers to information you choose to submit; checking it does not send anything and creates no consent record in your browser. Your brief is sent only when you choose Send your project brief. Clear removes the entered fields and returns consent to unchecked; the form is also cleared after a submission is accepted. The website does not write them to cookies, local storage or session storage. Browser autofill and history restoration are controlled by your browser. Do not include credentials, sensitive personal information, confidential project material or information you are not authorized to share.
Conversations you choose to initiate
You decide whether to contact Sentimech and what information to share. Project information you choose to provide is for discussing your enquiry and the work it concerns. A project enquiry is not consent to marketing or an unrelated use of your information.
If a conversation requires confidential material or a different way of sharing information, agree that separately before providing it. The website's brief-preparation tool does not establish a confidential channel or a services agreement.
YouTube background videos
Our Company and Capabilities pages use YouTube background videos. With normal site motion enabled, the page automatically connects to the YouTube player API and a privacy-enhanced YouTube embed, then starts muted, looping playback.
YouTube and its media services may receive your IP address, browser/device information and playback activity, and may use cookies or similar technologies under their own policies. Privacy-enhanced embedding does not mean that no information is collected or that no cookies are used. We do not control all processing inside the provider's player. See Google's privacy policy.
Your choices
Use Site motion off in the footer to stop decorative motion and remove the video player. This does not undo requests already made or delete third-party cookies. Supported reduced-motion and data-saving preferences, and viewing without JavaScript, retain artwork rather than loading the video player. Playback pauses offscreen, but pausing does not disconnect the provider.
Your site-motion choice stays in memory for the current visit; it is not stored in a cookie or local storage. A fresh load uses your browser preference again. The site follows your device's light or dark setting; if you choose the other theme with the theme switch in the footer, that choice is kept in this browser's local storage so later pages and visits use it, and choosing your device's theme again removes it. You can also manage or block third-party requests and cookies in your browser. Essential website information remains available without video.
External links and questions
Reading recommendations and other external links lead to independently operated websites. Their own practices apply when you visit them. Entering a document URL in the project brief does not cause this website to fetch it.
The × at the right of the site notice leaves this site for a random video from a specified public YouTube channel (channel ID UCHnyfMqiRRG1u-2MsSQLbXA), chosen in your browser from a list kept on this site. Nothing is requested until you choose it; the video then opens on YouTube, where YouTube's practices apply.
